Entry-Level Computer Helpdesk Assistant
Description:
Our client is a well-known healthcare company with offices in Alpharetta, looking to fill a Entry Level Computer Support Assistant position. A Computer Support Assistant will be supporting the Help Desk Support Specialists, who are the go-to people for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. They are responsible for answering queries and addressing system and user issues in a timely and professional manner. Help desk support works with the IT team, and will often interact with system and computer users across the company. The help desk team will train users on basic system and computer functions.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, chat or email
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
- Research questions using available information resources
- Advise user on appropriate action
- Follow standard help desk procedures
- Log all help desk interactions
- Administer help desk software
- Follow up with customers and users to ensure complete resolution of issues
- Redirect problems to correct resource
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
- Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
